The things which we can touch, feel is called hardware. For example monitor, CPU, keyboard, Printer etc. It is the physical parts of the computer system.
The things which we cannot touch, feel is called software. It just like soul of the body without which computer cannot work easily. It gives life to the computer. Example of software are application software, Ms-Dos, Ms-Windows etc.
